Fall is my favorite time of the year. I have been a resident in Crawford county and lived in van Buren since I was 6 years old. My town has always provided small festivals and craft events in the historic downtown area. Some of these events have been some of my fondest memories with friends and family. This weekend van Buren will be having their fall festival. I have checked out the weather forecast and it looks like it is going to rain Saturday afternoon but clear most of the day on Sunday. So we should have a good chance of being able to enjoy this wonderful event. I have already made it tradition with my little boy, 3 1/2, to take him to these events so he will be able to make the memories just I did growing up. I encourage all families to attend this weekend. Take time for your family and get out in this fall like weather and enjoy what the locals have to offer!
